Did you ever stop to take a long hard look at the clouds in the sky; or the ripples and reflection on the water? How about the hundreds of shades of the green of the trees? Fascinating isn’t it! But how can it be replicated? That’s easy, take a picture. Otherwise, let the artist in you be free to express her interpretation of what she sees.

Many of my current works have been inspired by my love of and fascination with nature and water in particular.

My brush expresses the magic of the ever-moving reflections of water and its ongoing mysteries. I’ve worked to capture its depth and personality, making each of my subjects both unique and intriguing.

I paint primarily with acrylics, oils and watercolours but I have also experimented with soapstone carving, glass fusion and clay, as well as painting on three-dimensional found objects and sculpting

My watercolour Flutterby Series depicts life-changing experiences – openness, freedom, beauty, love, continuous evolution and change as Flutterby’s colour evolves.

My painting, “Flashing By” was selected by Visual Arts Mississauga for exhibit at the Mississauga Central Library for two months during the Pan Am Games.

In the fall of 2016, “Spirit” was awarded the “People’s Choice Award” at a juried show in Florida.

My work is currently exhibited in collections in Canada, the UK, Australia and the United States.  It is also for sale in galleries in Mississauga and St. Catharines.

I have completed a number of commissioned pieces, mostly of my customer’s favourite boats as well as sculptures for homes and businesses.
