For several years now Diane has been creating original paintings for use by corporate clients in their Season’s Greetings cards. In past years she has arranged with a top quality printer to reproduce the images along with customized text and scanned signatures of the client’s staff. This year a group of three companies decided, for a number of good reasons, to move to an emailed eCard rather than mail out thousands of actual cards. This cut down on printing and mailing costs, and importantly eliminated a significant amount of administrative effort at a busy time of year. At first Diane wondered if she would have a role in this new approach but was delighted when she was again engaged to create the paintings and arrange for high resolution scanning into electronic images. The unexpected additional benefit of this new digital approach was that each of the thousands of emails contained an embedded hyperlink to this website.
